Islamabad: As per the latest updates, the Prime Minister, Mr Shahbaz Sharif, has assured their government of full support for the Saudi investment in Pakistan. He further assured that the Saudi investors would get all the required facilities to ensure their work goes smoothly under the Special Investment and Facilitation Council (SIFC).

As per the sources, a dinner gathering was held in honor of Saudi investors. During the gathering, PM Shahbaz Sharif stated to the investors of Saudi Arabia, “You will be given complete support for joint investment, of which there are bright prospects. Time is not far off when we (Pakistan and Saudi Arabia) will ink agreements worth billions of dollars,”
He further thanked and appreciated the Army Fhief for their exceptional support in making the visit successful. Additionally, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will probably visit Islamabad soon on Shahbaz Sharif’s invitation, as the PM highlighted that “we should start the spadework for executing joint projects as the Saudi leadership and major investors are keen to help Pakistan.”
The PM stated that the Special Investment and Facilitation Council (SIFC) was a successful model that helped get all the projects that are beneficial for Pakistan and Saudi investors. As a result, Saudi delegations accepted the SIFC model as they were quite impressed and found it beneficial.
