The ISPR Directed further added that the major purpose of India behind this attack was to destroy Pakistan’s water resources. However, this act has raised concern over the legality of targeting such infrastructure under international and war laws.
In addition, some of the targeted sites were the spaces of worship in places like Ahmedpur East and Muridke, where many people, including women and children, were killed or injured. However, despite such sad news, the good news is that the attacks in Sialkot and Shakargarh saw no damage to properties.
Furthermore, the arm forces of Pakistan stated that they were all set to give a strong response to India and its Operation Sindoor and let the country regret their act. The officials also stated that they would raise the issue of this attack on Pakistan’s dam at international forums.
