Quetta: As per the latest updates, the South Korean ambassador to Pakistan, Park Kijun, recently met with the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfraz Bugti, and discussed many investment opportunities and intended to work in different sectors, like tourism, IT, livestock and minerals.
As per the sources, Mr. Park Kijun expressed his interest in working in livestock and fisheries. He also appreciated and applauded the unique culture of Balochistan. He further acknowledged that Balochistan is an amazing city and has a strong potential for business.
Chief Minister Mr. Bugti formally invited Korean investors and encouraged them to visit Balochistan to discover its huge investment potential. It is pertinent to mention that Balochistan is home to a large coastline, rich fisheries, livestock, and mineral resources, and its phenomenal tourism prospects are major areas for potential investment.
During the discussions, Chief Minister Bugti assured the Korean ambassador that they would provide a helpful environment and protection to Korean investors. They will also ensure the investors have a great time here and go ahead with their investment purposes successfully without any hurdles.
As a result, both the Balochistan CM and the Korean Ambassador agreed to mutual cooperation and investment in various sectors in the province. Moreover, CM Bugti also highlighted their plan to the Korean ambassador to provide vocational training to 30,000 youth.
The major purpose of this initiative is to ensure massive employment to talented people or youth in foreign countries and contribute to the national economy via remittances. The Korean Ambassador also agreed and appreciated the plan of the CM Balochistan.
