Islamabad: As per the latest updates, today, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) are going to host an open house in the G 10 Markaz to introduce an IT park in Islamabad. As per the sources, Ministry of IT officials, Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) officials, industry representatives, and IT firms will join the open house event. The major purpose behind hosting this event is to deliberate the IT Park development in Islamabad and boost the city’s ecosystem.

Moreover, the IT Park will cover a 3.3-acre plot, with a main area of about 100,000 sqft. The IT Park is designed to accommodate around 5,000 and 6,000 IT professionals, such as freelancers, startups, software houses, and SMEs.
Additionally, the IT park will be operate on a public-private partnership model. It offers several amenities like co-working spaces, incubators for startups, dedicated office space for SMEs, research centers, auditoriums, and recreational facilities.
CDA is currently looking for reputable firms or individuals who can come forward and transform the existing structure on the designed plots into a standard and modern IT park.
The leasing terms include an “As Is” rental agreement, and it will be for the whole 3.3-acre area, with an initial 15-year term along with a potential 5-year extension, which will be subject to mutual agreement and CDA approval. The minimum monthly rental fee is around Rs. 16.58 million.
